Sheffield Children's Hospital DOFF Cleaning.
In November 2017 Complete Blasting Services Limited Were approached by Simons Group who built the new phase to Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital.
The project was to clean all the new brick elevations to remove the motor splashes & handling marks.
The architects requested the DOFF SYSTEM to be used on this project as it successfully cleans the surface at high temperature with low pressure resulting in no damage to the substrate.
Our company is an accredited contractor by Stone Health who manufacture the DOFF System that is approved by the English heritage.
The Process
*For access we used a 25m MEWP
*Our DOFF system is a self contained unit.
Our vehicles have on board power as well as 1000 litre water storage tanks.
This gave us the advantage of completing the work over a 2 week period with no disruption to the active Hospital.
The client was delighted with the service we provided.
