Broadheath Factory Regeneration.
Completed in Hale Manchester are the 2 large industrial warehouses that CBS were awarded to undertake in February 2023.
The scope for CBS was to Remove all the old existing coatings by method of shotblasting the steel work back to SA2.5 standard,
Followed by the application of a compatible Jotun intumescent primer to the newly blasted steel.
Our package was to complete a full Structural steel surface preparation by Shot Blasting, painting and tidy up including the waste disposal from site.
No projection was needed to the roof sheeting on this project as new cladding was getting installed.
The CBS team worked to a strict deadline making sure the works were completed ready for the following scheduled trades to move in.

The Process.
*Diesel MEWP Access
*Shotblast all steel to SA2.5 standard.
*Apply Jotun Pilot QD Primer to the specified um thickness by airless spraying.
*On this occasion with the open access we were able to use a large scale road sweep unit to recover all the waste abrasive and dispose of correctly leaving behind clean grounds.
Project team included 3 experienced blast operatives and 2 paint sprayers
all completed start to finish in 5 weeks.
