NEPTUNE MILL
Named after a lost street in Piccadilly East, Neptune Mill dates back to the 1860s. The mill was built as part of the redevelopment of Crusader, known then as Phoenix Works, after a devastating fire wiped the mill out in 1861
MANCHESTER - NEPTUNE MILL
Neptune mill located in Manchester another stand out building we had the privilege to work on,
Our team were called in to remove the layered up paintwork off the whole internal brick surfaces including the structural steel and timber Ceilings.
This project had a deadline of 6 weeks of which we put x3 blast operatives working full time to complete the works on schedule
The building is grade 2 listed meaning our operatives had to carefully remove the paint without damage.
We also had the responsibility of cleaning the whole internal building removing almost 60 tones of waste.
This was done by manual brush and shovels into piles the extracted out via industrial vacuum unit.
From there the vehicle safely disposed of the waste.

The Process.
*Shotblast all surfaces using a variety of abrasive materials.
*Setup extraction and air movers to each floor.
*Prime all cast iron columns by method of brush and airless spray system.
*Tidy up and removal of all waste.
Project completion time 6 weeks.
