We have completed the Historic 1849 iron bridge in Leeds,
Appointed by BAM Construction CBS Were instructed to carry out the Shotblasting and protective coating works prior to testing and repair work needed before its final protective system is applied.
This project presented unique challenges due to the fluctuating water levels near our scaffolding platform.
Our timeline was critical, requiring us to work long hours to ensure a pristine finish. We Blasted, primed and cleaned the area an a daily structured plan to prevent any debris or waste from entering the water.

The Process.
*Work within a fully encapsulated environmental wrapped scaffolding.
*Shotblast to remove Lead paint and corrosion
*Apply Sherwin Williams protective paint system by method of spray & hand tool.
*Vacuum all waste material into sealed environmental hazard packaging for disposal.
*Air movers and extraction setup with the correct filtration system for the specific project.
