Power cable revealing for National Grid across the UK.
Complete Blasting Services has been working alongside the National Grid on multiple projects around the UK.
When working on live main cables using excavators and sharp digging tools are too dangerous in a lot of circumstances, Our company were called in to help reveal the live power cables to allow access for repair work.
The excavators work to specific drawings & measurements to dig out the majority of muck and CBS Compound, when it gets within a range of 400mm this is when the blasting work takes place, carefully wearing away at the Compound our experienced operatives are able to blast their way around the live cable without causing any damage.
These works have taken place direct inside power plants and on the highways.

The Process.
*Using shotblasting as an unrevealing tool we can expose the cables without damage using regulated pressure and grit flow.
*waste removal is completed by vacuum and traditional hand brush & shovel.
*Working with the National Grid to ensure both our Shotblasting operatives along side the National Grid staff are working in a safe controlled environment to complete the work set out.
